Christopher L. Ambolino, Founder & Program Director

The Dream Alliance Founder, Christopher Ambolino, couldn’t help but notice the creative vacancies that existed throughout underserved populations as he was growing up. As an adolescent there was some solace in visiting nursing homes and other care facilities to play music or run arts and craft workshops, but not enough. It was during this time that the journey began to think of ways he could marry his passion for the arts, with populations and the issues he cared about. But he could have never predicted where this journey would lead.

Chris made a promise at the grave of his father in 1997, to create a vehicle by which underserved groups could harness their creative energy thru the influential medium of storytelling known as filmmaking, as well as learn the essentials of video production and creative writing. It was this pledge that has become his personal obligation, not just to the spirit of his father, but to the myriad of groups that crave another force of stimulation to exercise and foster there voices of expression.

The Dream Alliance was born in the winter of 2004 and commemorated its inaugural program at Inglis House in Bala Cynwyd , Pennsylvania during the summer of 2005. The alliance’s pledge to inspire, educate and empower promises to deliver an experience far beyond expectation for both participants and program leaders. We are all born with various levels of ability. And it’s this ability that sometimes defines who we choose to become. Choose to discover your personal truth and The Dream Alliance, its supportive staff, and invaluable partnerships will ensure you reach it.
